Product information

A blend of synthetic waxes, made to nourish, protect, and condition leather. Simply rub some Wonder Balsam ono the outside of your boot to help soften the leather. This contains yellow beeswax, mineral oils, petroleum spirit (solvent), petroleum derived wax. Created for use on all leathers except suede, nubuck and patent leathers.

Please note: This product will give distressed leathers with a dry, matte finish a different Waxed look.

Fab product I can feel the difference with one use, it has also stopped and annoying squeak from the tongue rubbing. There is quite a lot in the tin and only a small amount needed, so good value for money. It also has its own sponge, bonus.

I did find that the day after I'd put the balm on i had to rub the boots up with a dry cloth as they were still quite sticky but it does seem to have made a difference after only two applications

This leather turned out to be much softer and really nourished. All the marks disappeared and the leather looked like new. Highly recommended! It is not suitable for suede

I have have a pair of 1460's and a pair of Steel toe caps ( Dr Martens Industrial) the latter is regularly treated with the balsam and works a treat in softening the leather and keeping water out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JamesDrMarten from Best way to break in Dr Martens Using this on an old pair of 1460's I hadn't worn for a few years and had gone stiff and a bran new pair of 1461's I had just bought and it has worked great on both pairs. It has softened the leather lots quicker than breaking the shoes in without. I'd not use anything else.

I’ve used this on Docs that I’ve had for 10 years and they come up looking like new. This helps to protect and waterproof the leather and really improves the softness - excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MB22 from Definitely ‘Wonder balsam’! The balsam really helped with speeding up the softening of my new boots. There doesn’t seem to be a lot in the tin, however, it does go a long way. Just a quick wipe over with a damp cloth (if dirty), leave to dry then pop some of this on and voila, like new!
