Rated 3 out of 5 by Blinky from Not a big fan of the new design I’ve been a big fan of the Converse ballet flats for a while; they have always been really comfy and versatile. I ordered two new pairs to replace my well-loved existing ones and I have to say that I am somewhat disappointed with the new design. The sizing seems inconsistent as one pair in particular is very wide, so much so I have had to buy insoles to ensure they don’t come off when I wear them. The actual insoles that come with the shoes are really not comfortable, they are textured and make my feet hot, so not great! The lace design is skinnier and while this isn’t a huge issue, I personally prefer the older look.

The sole is far comfier than my older version, really nice to wear and usually I find converse a little uncomfortable for a week or two until I break them in. I love the design and colour, hence buying them a second time. They are a bright dazzling white and very pretty. Quick delivery and good tracking the driver through yodel. Good price aswell, bought on sale. Thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mollypompom from Has the sizing changed?! I bought these ballet pumps as my previous pairs have all fitted perfectly and I rarely find shoes that do. Unfortunately they were so wide and 'gappy' down the sides. You can always find shoes for 'wide fit' but rarely narrow so I'm very disheartened as I used to rely on these Converse as they have a short front and dont make my feet look really long. Back to Google search for me! Stars are for delivery speed etc which was all good.

I thought that was unusual but I got them anyway. I put these on and wore them for about an hour, big mistake as I ended up cutting both my heels and both had blood on them so I can not send them back. Really confused about ur sizing as I wear a size 4 in the hi tops...

But I should have been more positive because from the start! I bought a size 39/6 and it fits me perfectly. Even a tiny bit to wiggle my toes. They are so neat looking that I can wear them with EVERYTHING. Any length trousers and even a skirt. I love them.

The fit of the shoes were loose despite my wearing my usual size, the right foot was bigger than the left. The sole was thin (my friend said you couldn’t wear it without socks). So very very disappointing. Sent straight back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CAB91 from Brilliant upgrade These converse are very comfortable and a great update to the canvas pair I bought 5 years ago as the sole has been upgraded to a memory foam like material which is also waterproof. They are a little more elasticated than my last pair too so when your feet get hot in the summer you won’t need to squeeze them in with loads of talc.

Bought a new pair and the new style footbed is excruciatingly uncomfortable even for a short period, felt like there were lots of tiny stones stuck to the inside of the shoe. Returned and won’t be purchasing again
