Assistant Managers

You are the right hand man (or lady) to our captain of the ship! When the Manager is not there you are firmly at the helm!

From day to day you will be the support and the confidant for the Manager and we want you to continually drive the sales team and support the store. You need to be accountable for inspiring your staff to deliver great service and creating that great atmosphere that we strive to maintain here at OFFICE.

You will of course need experience at an Assistant Manager level or higher in a retail environment and have hands on experience in performance management and development. Commerciality is also key so as detailed in our Store Manager section we are looking for someone with a great eye for opportunities and can see where their next sale is coming from!

You will need to have all the personal qualities of our Store Managers as hopefully your aim is to have your own store one day and that's why during your time as an Assistant Manager you will need to build up vital skills, learning from your Manager and taking responsibility for different areas of the store; from running the sales floor or stock room, to staff training and HR functions.

Since service is such a large part of our business you will need to practice what you preach as we are a lot more than just talk here! So you need to be accountable for the service of every customer that enters our store and that can be a challenge in itself however if you think you can handle this then this may be the role for you!

We want someone who aspires to run their own store, has that VA VA voom and charisma in abundance!
