  • How old do you need to be to work at OFFICE?

    You must be 16 years of age before you are able to work for OFFICE.

  • What pay rates do OFFICE offer?

    Pay rates at OFFICE are highly competitive

  • Can I apply for a sales assistant/cashier or Stockroom position online?

    No, any application must be submitted into a store.

  • I submitted my application a couple of days ago. How long will it take before I receive a response?

    You will receive an email acknowledgement receipt of your application. If your application has been successful we will contact you within 2 weeks to schedule an interview with the hiring team.

  • Will I receive feedback as to why I was not given an interview for the applied position?

    Unfortunately due to the number of applications we receive we are unable to provide feedback to all applicants.

  • What is the interview process like?

    There are various stages but the first point of contact will be a telephone screening and if you are successful you will be contacted and invited to attend an interview.
    We will then set up interview meetings with you. Generally sales roles will have one interview and management anything from 2 to 3 interviews and store managers can expect a commercial floor walk too.

  • Do you have any part time positions?

    Yes. We have a number of part-time employment opportunities in our OFFICE stores, information can be found in each section.

  • Does OFFICE hire on temporary basis?

    Yes. During peak seasons (i.e Holidays) we hire employees on temporary contracts within our stores. Look out for these positions on the website.

  • If I am successful does OFFICE have a probation period?

    Yes. We have 16 week probation period for management roles and all other roles are subject to a 12 week probation period.

  • I have not located a vacancy which matches my interest. Can I still submit my CV online?

    Due to the amount of CV's we receive we will not look at any CV's that are randomly sent in so if there are no suitable vacancies currently available for you we ask that you save time and do not apply.

  • Is there an opportunity for career progression between functions?

    Absolutely. There are opportunities across all functions and stores across the country. This includes supporting opportunities within and between our headquarters. In fact, we work to promote internal opportunities to OFFICE employees before extending an offer to any external candidate.

  • Do you operate a bonus and benefits scheme?

    Yes we do! Full details will be given to you once an employment offer has been made.

  • What is my holiday entitlement?

    This will vary depending on your role and length of service but you will receive the statutory minimum amount of holiday.
